Registration materials are now available for thie Celebration of Evangelism to be held in Phoenix Arizona, October 23 -26, 1996. Regitrar for the event is Bea Carter, Northminster Church in Tucson (1-800-366-7443).

The event is planned for pastors, church members, youth workers, deacons, teachers, & elders. The goal is for three people from every church in the Synod of the Southwest, SOuthern California, COlorado, Utah, Nevada and Texas to attend.

Some twelve different workshops will be offered at each of five different times during the event - all for the purpose of equipping churches to reach the unchurced in their own communities.

Speakers include Joan Slamon-Campbell, Don McCollough, Price Gwynn, Marj Caprenter, Ben Campbell Johnson and Dale Bruner.

Registration is $100.00 per person for the entire 3 day event. meals are extra. Housing is available in local hotels. THe event will be held in the Historic First Church of Phoenix- a downtown church that is doing many creative and effective things to reach its communityi for Christ.

The Sponsors for the event are the Evangelism and Church Development Program Area (National Ministries Division) of the Presbyterian Church (USA), in partnership with Presbyterians for Renewal, the Synod of the Southwest and its constituent Presbyteries, and the Synod of the Sun.
